I've enjoyed looking at baby stuff lately. Here are a few cute recent finds. It is so much more fun to shop now, knowing that we're buying for a little boy! Clothing seems easy now while the aisles of diapers and bottles have been the most perplexing. Thank you to my sister-in-law for translating these "mystery" aisles and making them more understandable.
Last I read, our little boy was the length of carrot and approximately a pound in weight. The next few months should bring quite a growth spurt. Now is recommended as a very good time to play music and read stories as sounds can be heard. Funny, at a few recent events when voices of speakers have been amplified by a microphone, Baby B has been moving around like crazy. The ears are definitely working!
We are in the beginning stages of getting a nursery put together. I've enjoyed checking out baby furniture options online. I'm so thankful to be able to look online as there is also good review data to go along with the pictures. Some furniture that I think looks really nice becomes less interesting when several people comment on a concern or safety issue. Co-workers keep asking what our theme for the baby room is. Honestly, no theme has really stood out to us. Sure, there are endless boy themes of trucks, airplanes, animals or sports. The frog themes or moon and stars themes I've seen are cute. Likely, we'll decorate more by colors with a few added decorations. Another question we hear often is "Do you have a name picked for the baby yet?" We've tossed around several ideas and must have a name that begins with a "C" to stick with tradition. Grandpa and I had fun talking ideas recently and thought Cornelius or "Corny" for short could be rather funny. He also recommended naming our son "Sue" after the country song about a boy named Sue. He thought it might be a good character builder. My father-in-law lovingly refers to the baby as "Womba". My brother-in-law and sister-in-law once teased her parents by saying they were going to name their son "Cletus". Funny. Working in education, there are certain names that get eliminated automatically simply from knowing a certain behavior or personality associated with that name. To ease any fears that we might pick some odd name, we do tend to like more traditional names, just not so traditional that they're outdated or apt to cause our child to endure a lifetime of teasing.

Wishing all of you a wonderful week!
It's good to have a place to start with the baby names -- even in the letter "C" there are so many to choose from!
