13 Weeks

Here are some pictures of Baby B. at 13 weeks! We had a good doctor visit today. It started with an ultrasound of a jumping baby. What fun it was to see our baby moving around and looking like a baby! Seeing the arms and legs and heartbeat was pretty amazing. The first and last pictures show nice views of an arm sticking up and the third picture if very much an action shot with legs kicked out ready for a jump! The doctor reviewed the ultrasound pictures and talked with us about the fibroid. What once was 7 cm is now 12 cm! The doctor reassured us that fibroid growth tends to slow down at 20 weeks. He felt positive after reviewing the ultrasound information that the fibroid would not cause any difficulty for the baby. We were thrilled to hear that news! Another ultrasound is recommended for 18-20 weeks and that's when we can find out if this little baby is a boy or a girl. We are looking forward to finding out!

  1. Whoohoo! That's one bouncing baby! And excellent news about the fibroid, too. I had no idea it would grow during the pregnancy.

It sounds like you're getting excellent medical care along with all of the good news. Win-win.
