Trip to the Park

So I was thinking this afternoon that I needed to drop off some things at Goodwill before heading out for a meeting tonight. Plus, the sunny fall day was looking enticing, too. At first, I thought I'd have to wait for C to come home to watch Colin then all of a sudden the thought hit that I didn't have to wait anymore, I could now just take Colin with me! And maybe we could even enjoy this beautiful day with a little trip to the park. I could look over my minutes and info. to report at the meeting AND enjoy being outside with Colin. I took some things we needed and forgot some things (I hope to get better with practice). On our way out, we saw C and made plans for him to meet us later at the park. Colin and I arrived at the park and found a place to hang out at a picnic table. We felt the breeze and watched a squirrel run up and down a tree getting some food stored away for the winter. Children rode by on their bikes and many happy dogs walked by with their owners. Colin enjoyed taking in everything. We talked about the colors of the leaves and I told him about how his daddy used to go to this same park when he was a boy to play and swim. C arrived and we enjoyed some time just hanging out together. Above are a few captured special moments. Check out that wonderful smile!
