Happy 4th of July to you! Colin is 10 months old today. It is hard to believe that he will be 1 in only two months! Colin is busy trying new foods, pulling up, cruising, and exploring new territory. His crawling skills are more advanced now and boy is he fast! He can get to Ilsa's food and water in only seconds. Yesterday, he became interested in our stairs when Gabby, our cat, ran up them. Colin followed by crawling up the stairs one by one and he made it all the way to the top! Learning how to climb down will be a lesson for another day. Colin has had fun this summer playing in our little blow up pool. He seems to enjoy the water. Yesterday we enjoyed going to a pool party where Colin had his first experience being in a big pool. He loved it and had a great time splashing in the water. Below is picture (taken by C) of Colin splashing.
June went by quickly as we traveled to Georgia for my sister's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and we are thrilled to welcome her husband and a new uncle for Colin into our family! We enjoyed spending time with family and friends who traveled for this special celebration. We took a few extra days for an adventure and visited Tybee Island and Savannah. We looked forward to eating seafood and showing Colin the ocean. The weather was hot, hot, hot, (103 degrees yikes) so we found ourselves mostly indoors. Colin got to stick his toes in the ocean and had his bottle on the beach one morning early before the heat arrived. He had fun discovering sand. Wow -- great pictures of 10-month-old Colin, and the pool and beach photos, too! That stuffed doggy sure is shrinking quickly. Just a few month ago it all but dwarfed the happy baby.
